Hi,

I used 85-140 in my rear diff for a while but found it always foamed up and blew out the breather. I tried lowering the level etc etc but it always seemed to foam up. Maybe something peculiar to air lockers?

Changed back to 75-90EP now and is much better.

In my Tcase I run Dexron III which is synthetic auto trans fluid. I think this is what Jeep recommend

I recently replaced the oil in my rear LSD diff. I used Penrite 75W/140 as well as a friction modifier. What oils are others using? I do a bit of towing with a 1000kg (full) Kimberley Kamper.

I am also planning to replace my transfer case oil (command trak on Diesel XJ). Any suggestions?

Most of the messages I read here are on the XJ. The following site has got some great info and from what I see and read, will save us $$$$.
