Having been in the anti corrosion industry for thirty years for aircraft, mining, autos I can assure you that not doing anything is a recipe for future corrosion in the vehicle.Salt water will have penetrated every seam it could have got into, plus steel and aluminium are porous. As a previous post said flood the salt water effected areas with a hose etc then at least spray a water displacing fluid in all areas .A good option is to spray with SaltAway or similar available from Whitworths Marine.Saltwater will start to discolor cad plating coated parts plus alloys in a few days.Take the wheels off and treat contact area between discs and wheels ,have seen these nearly welded together. Our 4x4 rustproofing operation in Brisbane continually saw the results of driving in salt water.
