not sure what this will do, but I have some code for you jimmy - you can just make an irc page and add this in. you'll see. I have registered the channel ausjeepoffroad. It is basically the same deal as the one i posted above, but looked easier to set up.

thankx mate, will have a look in the next week or so. got my m8 from the states coming over shortly so will quiz him on it, he might have bandwidth issues though, failing that do any of you guys have a server that could run a ausjeep page from it that is the irc chatroom? i could give you the template and moderator rights and run a hyperlink directly to it.

just ideas anyways.

jimmy you could run this off a free hosting company page I would think.

try going to
this page

wait for the java to load
type in a nickname
email address
ausjeepoffroad is the channel

then hit connect
i am on there now, you will see how much traffic it doesn't use. :D

Well using Netscape at work was fine. Chatted with no probs. Using Exploder 5.5 here at home it wants me to download Microsoft Virtual Machine. 4.9MB. Who knows! If we all start using it I'll download it. Otherwise MS can get fawked!
