No, nothing is needed apart from the above. If you have a CRD, then you should purchase the app. Actually, regardless, we still need those yummy extra options, HAHAHA. But the good thing is to try it out first for free with the Lite version.

I got told about this by another fellow Jeeper here on AJOR (popeyeroo) last year and after talking to a lot of people I get in touch with, they don't seem to know anything about it so I wanted to share and proclaim this app here with and to all our fellow Jeepers who haven't heard of it yet. Those who know, I'm sure they love it as I do. Mate, you get to see how your car breathes on a daily basis, LOL.

Don't mind me talking rubbish, I'm over excited, LOL.

I was thinking of getting a couple of proper gauges for my CRD, maybe I'll check out this option then I'll have ALL the available gauges.

What is the app called again, I could not find it on the Apple App store.

I am running the Samsung Omnia7 running Windows Mobile 7. These have gone like apple in that you can now only access the phone via Zune software for music and videos, no file access... Can only install apps via the Microsoft Marketplace - if not approved by Microsoft then not available - no OBD software I can find yet.

I did have it unlocked, but the Mango update (7.5) stuffed that up and locked it down tighter than a drum. The only way to unlock them now is to backdate the phone to pre-mango, install an unlocking program then reinstall mango. Not as simple as it sounds though and unfortunatley only discovered after Mango was released!!

I run the Android version on my tablet and my phone, the phone one is handy as you can check things while you have your head under the bonnet or are monitoring something else while outside of the Jeep. Its a great App I've been running it for a few months now

Cheers
Steve

I've only seen this briefly the other day but their web site I'm sure showed a USB version that might be able to connect directly to the iPhone. Apparently it also will give limited use on the 2.7 CRD according to a Benz user but I'm not sure if that's because the ML270 is OBD compliant which of course the Jeep 2.7 is not.
