Default Transmission Control Module 2007 CRD

Has anyone had to service / replace their TCM? For a 2007 WH CRD 3 LTR
Where did you get it repaired / replaced here in Australia or overseas?
Mine is reading error code P0605 internal rom failure and there is no diagnosis fix in the service manuals plus it wont talk to any other modules.
I have confirmed the BUS voltage of 2.5 volts on the DLC pins 6 and 14.
Thankyou
ps sent the tcm to autocomputers.com.au their distributer says ya ya they can do it and when they recieve it ,.....no cant do anything jeep newer than 2005!
Jeep are saying its a overseas order @ $900.00

Default re transmision contol module

My 06 GC CRD is starting to display the same problem my fault code is U0301
my cruise control drops out on long distance runs and the transmission sometimes sticks in a gear
I have noticed a hard shift into 2nd gear regardless of how the car is driven
I have sourced the TCM module from the states for 400 us dollars I will be monitoring it till the next transmission service at which time I will purchase it and replace it with a couple of other sensors
here is the link I found for info on it hope it helps I am in the same boat I keep getting all these different codes but its the same thing

Default Tcm

Hi Doc
I have mine all sorted now it runs like a new car. The TCM I got from bobby@rtpartsco.com
$500.00 inc freight plus it needed reprograming at Jeep....Sunco due to error code in the new TCM P1644 incorrect config.

Error codes that instigated the change of TCM P0605 TCM Rom failure. plus the TCM would not communicate with any of the other modules.

I also tested the BUS Voltage on the DLC pins 6 and 14 @ 2.5 volts which confirms thats working.

My Jeep was stuck in Limb mode.

My local mechanic got a code pointing to internal TCM failure and suggested a new gearbox....5 grand plus ouch ....

I brought the Autoenginuity scan tool with the chrysler enhancment $500.00, can be sourced from Sydney....worked good pulled the jeep codes out and cleared them.

By the way the TCM is not where the USA says it is, its behind the radio right against the inside firewall.
Also Bursons Autoparts told me they could repair and test the TCM, after four days they told me they cant test it and I had to pay the $67.00 and they would not give me my TCM back unless I did.
So if anyone wants a broken TCM for a 2006 jeep....Bursons have one!

Default re transmision contol module

Hi HOTQLD
I have used Bobby before he is pretty cheap and gets the parts out pretty quickly

I sent an Email to CRDSTU he is the guru on these vehicles and he just told me that its one of my wheel speed sensors he just had the same thing happen to his wife's GC

The only painful thing I can see is having to take it to the dealers to get it diagnosed as to which sensor not real happy with dealers on these vehicles

Oh well I can wait a while for that not going anywhere till October

TCU in GC 2007. Have been having some issues and pricing them for possible replacement. Copy of costing from US attached with priority freight. We get ripped off in Aus. This also the latest version of our TCU which had a TSB for replacement around late 2011.
