Default 2011-2013 Grand Cherokee WK2 skid plates?

Hi,

I have received a quote from Jeep factory on the skid plates (front, fuel, transfer case) - $1050 + fitting cost extra.

Any opinions or suggestion of aftermarket products in australia and if it can be DIY or can be taken somewhere recommended?

Hi mate,

The Mopar skid plates are actually very well made, and it is an easy DIY job. I just wish they would've created a real 'front' skid plate (one that would protect the radiator), but looks like we'll have other options soon (Bullbars or BMackins front skid plate)

FYI - I got mine from Gold Coast Jeep for $800.

Kev.

Pics of the skid plates taken by Stu Murchison when I had the suspension lifted.
