Beach driving near batemans bay

Will be going down this week and wouldnt mind exploring the area around batemans bay.

is there any beaches that 4wd only on the south coast?

Hi MRGC,

I know this response is late, but I researched this a while back and there appears to be no beach driving allowed down in the Shoalhaven areas. There are 4wd tracks in the state forests just north of Batemans Bay, that do include some river crossings such as Shallow Crossing.

Comerong Island just out of Nowra, used to be able to drive on the beach there.
