I received these yesterday and I must say when I unwrapped them I was happy with the quality, the mounts look pretty heavy duty and all visible steel is quite thick gauge. Cant say what thickness the tubes are since they are sealed, but each one is just under 30kg so there is some decent weight to them.

I fitted them up today and it took a little longer than expected, for a start, most of the provided bolts were just not long enough, like there was literally no way the bolt could reach the provided captive nuts, so I replaced many of them out for stainless steel bolts, not a major drama but annoying if you don't have longer bolts laying around. Also one of the holes needed a little filing to line up with a hole in the chassis.

With the nice solid chassis mounts I'd have no issue using a high lift jack on them, they even have slots provided for this.

So yes, for the price they are definitely worth it, just be prepared for it not to be a 100% simple fit.

Default I bought a set

I bought a set of these a few weeks back and had the same issue as mike_nofx had with the bolts. Annoying as i didn't have any longer bolts handy so off to the bolt shop mid installation.

Quality wise have no complaints. I am more than happy with my purchase.

Noted. I may swap them out when I get a chance. They bolt on using existing crossmember and chassis bolts on the Jeep, the bolts I replaced were just 2 that attach to the side of the chassis, I doubt they have load on these particular fasteners, its more just to hold the rails in place.

What year model is yours? I'm wondering if different year models had slightly different thicknesses where they mount.

Also, on passenger side, how did you find the centre mount, the one which comes with an optional spacer?

yeah i forgot to mention the bolts were a bit short. According to the US vendors that are selling them the wall thickness is .120" which is roughly 3mm. Mine have taken some abuse the last couple of weeks and are holding up really well so far. I don't like that they trap a lot of mud though.

Mine is a 2007.

The centre one was fine. No need for the spacer plate. Besides the short bolts the most annoying one was the rear passenger mount the one with the long bolts.
