With long range forecasts getting better - I'd be cancelling or modifying a trip up there in those (hot) conditions if I was the leader.

Forget doing Hearns spur to the south of Wonnongatta, apparently at least one of the 5/6 river crossings is over 2m deep.

I had thoughts about heading into wonnangatta over the break.....sigh, looks like it's not gonna happen. No winch, no snorkel and a newly modified, untested WJ makes me nervous considering the rain we've had.

Maybe next year.

There are still plenty of decent tracks around the Licola area incl billy goats, Burgoynes, Mt Margaret worth a play.
