So your the person, I spoke to LRA about 12 months ago but living in NSW couldn't get my Grand down to them. What engine do you have? I have the 5.7 and do a lot of caravan towing. I spoke to LRA last week and they said they had someone coming in. Please keep us posted, I have my name on their waiting list but it will be better hearing it from the horses mouth.
Cheers and thanks

Hey Scarps

Is it possible to chat with LRA about the possibility of 50% of space fuel tank and the rest a pocket/bin to fit a second battery?
I understand that they only deal with tanks however they will have the engineering know how if it's possible?
Having a second battery would be awesome and make the Jeep even more flexible.

Fingers crossed as I really want a second battery.

Cheers

Hey Browny,
I haven't spoken to them for a while. Somewhat like you, I'm sitting back and waiting to see. I'm not sure however whether having a battery next to a fuel tank is a good option?
The more I thought about my idea, there could be issues around having water and fuel next to each other too.
Just going to wait and see what comes out over the next few months and as spare cash come available

Hi Browny ... There are few WK2's with second battery's installed in the compartment under the passenger seat. They're on this forum somewhere.

Here it is ... http://www.ausjeepoffroad.com/forum/...8&postcount=16

Thanks for the info.
I will have another look however by memory there are a lot of electric stuff under the passenger seat on the Overland. Was the Jeep with the photos an overland or a Laredo or Limited?

Cheers
Browny
