Anyone running Lund Elite Series FX-Flat Guards?

Out of Curiosity if I was to take the lining off stock guards could they be installed with rivnuts and bolts? I hate the stupid plastic clips and but could never work out if rivnuts would work.

Yes you can.

The fronts are a straight up bolt on. The rears however will need nutserts for all but two bolts because of the way the panels are. There is no way you can get your hand behind to hold the nut.

The Uneek kit came with M8 nutserts. I just had to enlarge the clip holes in the rears with an 11mm drill to install the nutserts.

I had a look at this and couldn't get it to work.

I ended up putting a bolt up through the bodywork tongue that the stiffener sit's on to help take the weight off the flare (if that makes sense).
