Default Radio back light illuminating with brake pedal

Hi all,

I did a search and found nothing on this.

Last night I was sitting in my drivers seat and pumped the brake pedal while my key was out of the ignition and the back light to my radio lit up for a split second. It wouldn't repeat it immediately but after a minute or so it light up again with another press of the brake pedal.

Had anyone heard of this? I've wired spotties up but they are on an external relay and the only tie in point to the factory wiring is on the high beams. No idea how long it's been doing it.

Cheers

On mine, if I have the dash dimmer on anything below full brightness when I use the indicators the radio and dash backlighting will flicker brighter on and off with indicators.

NFI why it does it, I just keep dimmer on full now.

Glad I'm not the only one. Must be some shoddy wiring somewhere.

I'll unplug all my own wiring tonight and see if it still happens.

Cheers
