Off a fellow member. He imported a replacement motor and it had the IP attached, which was surplus to requirement.
I probably did not describe the 'workaround' to the stalling very well, but found that if I adjusted my driving style (throttle blip if slow/ lazy gear change && never engine brake) I was good.
You can try adjusting the idle, need to mark the plates and move them ever so slightly.
- I never bothered due to driving style workaround.
Mine is odd, it's not like it would stall approaching idle rpm, more that something seemed 'stuck' and rpm would just drop straight past idle point if taking foot off the pedal -- but only if rpms were above (from memory) 2600rpm or thereabouts.
Hope that makes sense..
- just warm car up n sit in driveway (stationary) rev engine n see what needle does.
Mine was something like 1 in 4 would drop causing stall -- if engine warmed up - never an issue cold, never an issue if I 'blipped' throttle when needle on it's way back down.
Ie when dropping below 2600rpm, just touch throttle for briefest of moments..
Hope you get it sorted and if you do get codes read or anything pls keep updated.
Cheers
