Thumbs up Dollars count?

Interesting to note the KIA Sportage won the major USA desert off road comps two years in a row, against all those huge V-8's that had hundreds of thousands of US dollars thrown at them. The nimble little Sportage by KIA knocked their socks off. How embarrassing for them! But then, some would say that those who don't drive so well, hide behind huge horse power and noisy exhausts (with the fast glass down of course.)

Default Big ain't always beautiful. Go the KIA !

Yes Black_TJ, I can understand the TV guys going for the big rigs as no doubt there is a lot more money (translates to commercials/sponsorships) and for those who need it, prestige attatched to that camp. I wanted a Jeep in 1994 but as they were not imported then, I settled for an 'almost Jeep' ASIA (Korea) Rocsta. Even though I have two great Jeeps, I could'nt part with my 'next door to un-stoppable fun Rocsta. Rocsta used to be made under licence to Jeep anyway. Worth of note is the drop arm for a Jeep fits and so do Jeep FWH's. Diesel engine is a copy of a Mazda R2. A Jeep type Detriot locker fitted into the front & rear pumpkins. Have had it in fun comps at Brooklyn & Emu Ck NSW, LCMP etc. No offers thanks as not selling but I'll take you for a spin in the mud, when it rains RockyOne pix http://public.fotki.com/RockyOne/
