Default coloured JK hardtops

It sounds like the recent production delays in Jeep Wrangler hard-tops might be coming to an end, along with the big news that colored hard-tops are in the pipeline. Autoweek is reporting that Chrysler is ramping up production:

But the removable hard-top version is much more popular than the soft top. Hard tops typically account for 70 percent of customer demand for Wranglers, but that number recently has lifted to 80 to 85 percent, Manley said.

The shortage of hard tops was caused by the bankruptcy of the original supplier, Meridian Automotive Systems Inc., which filed for Chapter 7 in August 2009. Continental Structural Plastics Inc. has since taken over the business.

Manley said Jeep will be offering customers a greater choice of hard-top options, including colored tops that match the body paint.

Sound interesting.

Must admit, one of the main reasons I'm not running to swap my TJ for a new JK is the current range of JK body colours (nuff said).

My 2005 TJ is 'impact orange' and I love it. I know currently there's a 'Sunburst Orange Pearl' available in the new line up but I believe it's only for the Unlimited (not seen one here in W.A. either).

I'd love a 2 door JK in a crisp light ice blue metallic (or something similar). If not, I'll have to go Stone White with custom black zebra stripes and a tan or brown hard top (bizarre I know).

Anyone have a scoop on upcoming or new series body colours?

I thought the JK's must only come in black considering how many I've seen.
