Default whistling noise when shutting down

I have a weird noise when switching of the engine.
You hear a slight squaking noise when shutting down the engine in the video.
Dealership said alternator.... well changed it and it was not the alternator. I run it without the belt and it still makes the sound. So shouldn´t be any bearing in the belt drive. Also changed 2 pulleys and checked the tensioner.
Seems more like pressure getting of somewhere......

But I´m not sure. Today it sounded again like rubber or bearing or something like that....

We're an Australian site & in Oz we have been on the metric system since the 70's. So no need to worry about converting!

So ~ 80k kms or, I suppose, you could say 80Mm.

Sorry, I don't have any idea about the whistle/squeak. I have an '08 3.8 V6.

Oh, I didn´t knew that. Thought all Commonwealth sticked to the British achievements........ left driving imperial system, etc......

To the problem.
Sound is coming from the driver..... ähm our driver side middle of the engine.
Looking at the parts there and looking for noises on the www. EGR is an option.
It was changed 40-50k km ago. So might be it again or a gasket.
But not sure.
Dealership should have a look at it. At least it doesn´t seem to be anything which might cause some follow up damage.
That was my concern.

I think the only part of the Commonwealth that still uses imperial is England. Even Ireland has signs in metric & imperial.

All I can find online, is that the U.S., Liberia & Myanmar use imperial, the rest of the world is metric.

So left side of engine. Is that the side with the rubber turbo hose going into the engine? Many here have had issues with it splitting & replaced the OEM pipe with stronger aftermarket silicon ones. Although when that happens, it usually loses boost pressure & throws a code.

Well, turbo is on the left. hoses to intercooler and from there, left side to the engine. I replaced it all with stainless steel piping and silicone hoses some years ago.

I changes the noise somewhat when I squeeze the silicone fittings/hoses.
But not in a way that there might be the problem.

What is there is the EGR. I had a problem with it once. 17" year after end of the warranty. So should have been around 25-30k km.

Also you hear often from whistling noises if the gasket of the EGR is defect. But more to a whistle with higher rpm and constant whistle.

But all the hints, no powerloss, noise since 2 years 15k km and becoming only worse slowly, nor error in the system, direction were noise is coming from.........

I´m not in the mood right now to take apart half of the engine, but I think I will give dealership a good description and point to the EGR.
