I have a tropical ice box (orange looking marine grade) not sure if you get them in WA but they have a thicker fibreglass sides and lid than the other blue fibreglass ones you get here in Qld

With a combination of block and cube ice it lasts 5 days easy, with just cubes lasts 2 - 3 days (keeping it out of the sun in 30+ temps)

It's not cheap but like greenjk said you get what you pay for - I think my 52 litre one was about $190

I have a 60ltr marine style one from Super Cheap, I think it's a COOPER brand? With 1 x block and 2 x cubed it keeps drinks cold as for at least 4 days (Haven't tested longer). It was only $100 (on special) and I reckon for that cash it's been a very good purchase. Very solid too, I weigh 100kg and have no dramas standing on it, let alone sitting on it.

I did lose the drainage cap (which was threaded) and found a suitable replacement at Bunnings in the plumbing section.

Yep teh rotomolded or fibreglass ones with injected foam are great. I agree with a couple of earlier comments that a drain mat in the base and block ice are good tactics to keep things cool ad away from water damage. This was our set up commercial hook fishing before selling the licence.

Now for camping I run gel ices which make even less mess in the esky. Try online auctions and the web as sometimes there are good packs of boxes and deyhdrated gel ice.
