Default Looking for a Camping spot / 4WD Park

My brother and I are trying to organise a camping trip after new years with some 4wding aswell. My brother lives on the Central Coast and I live in Brisbane, is there anywhere about half way possibly closer to me as I have an older vehicle to consider. I found Rover Park, but thats 3hrs for me and 7 hours for my brother....

Just need some other suggestions, we are both married so the facilities have to half decent otherwise we won't hear the end of it

Agree with Fred and Co, but they do tend to close this place up if it rains too much. Seems to be that the blacksoil gets too slippery and dangerous.

Lovely spot though.

Rover park good for the kids.
