I had to cut the bracket to suit. Also imcluded a few washers to have the prefilter sit away from the bar. No probs with this setup.
If I were doing a long trip with corregations I would consider welding the brackets to a spre set of window corners for added strength.

Default Roof Racks

I like your setup Downsouth, Your roof rack looks similar to mine. Mine is a custom job and I'm fishing around for a basket. What is the basket on yours

have received my LCA drop brackets and installed the passengers side but the drivers side is being difficult. Anyone else fitted the these (AEV) brackets and how the hell did you get the bolt out of the upper control arm on the chassis end with the exhaust pipe in the way.
I have tried levering it by myself and trying to remove the bolt at the same time (maybe i need someone else to assist). Any thoughts on this most welcome and i am not yet at the stage of grinding it off and i guess i still have the journey of putting the bolt back in afterwards too

Front and rear lockers installed, as well as 4.88 gears and Riddler diff covers.
Visited engineer with Currie Rock Jock lift kit bits and 33's (yeah, I know-later), got the OK to start fitting.

So I've pulled off the back wheels, put the chassis on stands, pulled off the rear shocks and went to Fiji for a two week holiday. Jeep was still there when I got back...... Might have another look next week?

Wranglertj,

As far as i can remember when i took my bolt out i was lucky to squueze it between the exhaust and chassis just took some swearing!! I have read with the petrol exhaust there is less room and you have to either cut the bolt or move the exhaust??
