New boots $820 fitted for 4, 285/70/17 Comforser CF3000, From Huntsman Products. Will let everyone know how they go in the mud. Going scrub from Kevington to Woods Point to Merrijig from Thursday til Sunday, bloody freezing but should be fun.

Why? What is your experience with them?
I still have the original ball joints in at 85,000K and the reason I am doing so much to the axle is so I don't have to work on it again for at least that long again.
With all the sh!t canning of the OEM ones being plastic substandard items, I would be very disappointed if these greasable steel cup ones never lived up to the claimed standard. Hadn't heard of any problems from others I know who have fitted them.

I'm still on original ball joints at 130,000ks!! Wonder how much longer they've got??

So you see what I mean then?
I'm only changing mine because I'm changing " everything".
Then it's expected that I may be lucky to get 10,000K out of high milage, more durable, upgrades.
Something is seriously wrong!
