Early j series had 5 on 5.5"inch studs on some models, they also came with 12"inch drums too. I believe these 5 stud axles were deleted after 73 when production was more standardised.
I have a 72 J4000 with the 5 on 5.5 studs

Mahindra CJ340DP [Indian license built CJ3B] have DANA 44 axles front and rear, maybe salvaged from one of these?

If you go to 44 front it is better to use FSJ 6 lug wide track and shorten the housing. Hard to find in RH drop these day.
The Scout Diffs work but still have the same size outer axels as the 30.
Unless you get the FSJ swivel hub and hubs brakes etc.
