Default Camping trip at the King Of Hammers.

Went to the King Of Hammers (KOH) earlier this month to watch a friend race. It's held in the desert of Johnson Valley, California.
Here are some photos.

Our camp site for 9 days.

The Superbowl was on the first Sunday we were there and my wifes team was playing, so she spent the whole afternoon in the RV watching sat TV.......who would watch TV when you're at KOH ???.....

A walk through Hammertown looking at the teams, buggies, pit trailers and garages.

Heading up to Chocolate Thunder to watch the qualifying.

Mel from Off Road Evolution lining up to qualify.

Many of the purpose built buggies were hitting the gas way too hard through Gate Keeper and rolling over.

Mel lining up for the race.

Off Road Evolution's booth.
My jeep is the red one on the right.

LOL....we always tent camp but 9 days in what can only be described as a dust bowl, with 1" of dust through your hair, clothes, in your boots, by the end of the day....having a shower was "heaven on earth".

This was the exception, not the rule....
