This is what we call a "blow" on the Arctic slope. Since the slope is a arctic desert, when the winds gets up, it can blow the snow around like a sand strom. Except the wind chill can hit blistering temps.
Madizell is the only other Alaskan I know of on AJOR. He is in Wasilla I think.
