Was sick of taking the lower front apron off to go bush, and then looking like a redneck around the suburbs, so I cut the damn thing back.

That looks great! I've gone with the Redneck method as I took mine off and never refitted, might try and find it in the shed and do the same as you've done.

It took a couple of goes to get it right I must say, but in the last attempt I ran a strip of 3/4" masking tape down the inside and followed the tape with the tin snips. Then a bit of a hit with the file and some sandpaper, and you're done!

Today i installed the charge wiring for my new Thumper pack, so it can now charge whilst on the go.
