Yeah my f6 is on lease. Seriously try an f6 as well as the 300. Don't believe the mags, I've done a 12.7 stock. Watch out for second hand on lease, the warranty could save you lots.

Warranty? On a Chrysler? Surely that's not necessary! hehe

The SRTs i've been eyeing off are fairly low km (sub 40K) and juuust within wtty period. maybe i should be looking at the extended wtty option.

I won't buy a Ford (or Volvo, or -in-my-dreams an Aston). Massive bias aginst them even tho they have some ace models.

The E-series HSV R8 tourer is on the radar tho.

I've done the ring around and they should be getting back to me today. The Grand Cherokee has the rating to tow 3500kg and the SRT8 is only rated at 1500kg which is the question i have asked them. I am sure they are the same car with a body kit and big hemi and if its just the exhaust stopping a decent tow bar being fitted im sure i could move it. Does anyone know any different specs between them that could limit the tow capacities.....

Did they ever get back to you with an official reason for the reduced towing rating?

I have taken one for a spin and compared to my 2000 4.7L v8 it went ok
very noisy and lumpy in a good way...

When they are cheaper Im gunna buy one and stick 37`s on it !
