Default Popping Door Hinges

This is just a for info.....
Our 2015 has had the front drivers door popping for a couple of years and about a year ago the passenger side has joined in.
Both sound horrible on opening and closing.
So I decided it was a job worth doing and after a bit of keyboarding around, again settled on Rockauto in the US, as by far the best and easiest way to source new hinges - or any parts for that matter.
Genuine Mopar (made in Canada), 55113664A1.
Ordered September 12, shipped the next day from Little Rock by Fedex standard shipping - delivered Gold Coast Au on 19 September. (that included spending 3 of those days in Matraville NSW according to tracking).
Total price inc shipping $166.73 USD = $267.44 AUD.
Taking into account the horrible US - AUD exchange rate and including the shipping cost I thought that price very reasonable.
The hinges are also stamped 85574F - the same number visible on the hinges on our Jeep.
They are supplied in nickel silver - our Jeep is Bright Silver so I'm not going to bother with sourcing a matching paint - they'll go on unpainted.
Next stage is to actually change them out - and looking forward to no more annoying popping.
John

Is it the actual hinge popping or the door panel ???? Mine give a bit of a pop sort of sound every so often so I give them a hit with Lanox sheep pee, shuts them up for ages.

Rockauto is always my first stop when looking for most parts ....

I confirm numbers to suit my particular year model on https://www.moparpartsgiant.com/part...Overland%204WD)

that way at least I'm pretty sure I have ordered the right part no matter who I get it from...

No more popping. Pleasure to open and close now.

And all the squirting with Lanox, WD40 and every other sprayable wonder fluid did nothing for mine.

Forgot to note - the hinges are left and right hand - they look the same but the holes in one leg of the hinge are off set.
The left hand one is 55113665AI - right hand is as above.

Mine have been popping for years but have been putting it off as have heard the swap process is a bit of nightmare - how'd you find it?

I've ignored it for so long that my drivers door has actually now quietened down - just doesn't hold on the stops very well any more...

Like all door hinge changes you need to be patient and not tighten up fully until you have the door in the right position, it does seem that changes were made over the years as some hinges appear to have year dates applied... hinges come in lH/RH and Top Bottom.
