Default Local or interstate mobs.

Hey guys/girls,

Looking at the usual parts for the XJ and I normally get them through Wooders but he seems to have gone out of business. If I really need it straight away, I normally get them through Hammonds, which can cause an arm and a leg.

Apart from the two, which other jeep companies are out there that people have used/bought from (Australia base)?

Cheers

If you said exactly what you were after it would help.
Some parts can be obtained from non jeep places.

Parts as in wheel bearings (not cheap repco ones), tie rod ends and few other bits. Just got back from interstate yesterday so just trying to pick things up from where I left off so I've gotta find my list again. Reason I prefer to go to jeep specialist as it saves me from multiple orders in different shops. Hate running around as I've only got 2 weeks then I'm overseas then I'll be somewhere else again. Ebays good for bits but never know quality and fitments.

I've sourced a few parts for my JK from Rockauto in the US. Prices are cheap, delivery isn't ridiculous and service is quick. Maybe give them a try.

As far as I know Wooders is still there but I think he's concentrating more on other things rather than parts supply.

Wheel bearings are best from the manufacturer. CBC etc. Its handy to know a good bearing shop, uni's, seals etc
