with that self diagnostic thing, i get some errors - too much travel or something but the aircon works fine

i've had both jeep dealers in brisbane take a look at it when it's been in for other things, and they've said they got no errors out of the computer.

It did have the aircon fixed (blend doors i'm assuming) just before i bought it a year ago but those codes should've gone by now i'd think

The dealers don't even know about that diagnostic trick but come to think of it, i've found they don't know much at all
(have to get this off my mind - the diff seal they replace about 3 months ago is leaking again already!!!)

Anyone know if there is a similar trick to replace the recirculation door mine has fallen right off which I was able to remove through the Blower motor access?

The latest, a quick fix kit which you could probably land in Aus for under $A 300.

Anyone repaired the recirculation door?

Regards

James

Just completed a blend air door fix on my brothers WJ.

Here is the link for the kit. Its called "heater treater"

Just have to say that it works perfectly, job took about 2 hours being very careful. No need to pull apart the dash. The instructions were very easy to follow.
