So I gather you're the one that rushed into a big puddle without a wading sheet up front then .

In MJOC that'd earn you the right to give a donation to RFDS via the pink pig.

Im looking doing something along the line of this air intake .

How are you going to fit a Donaldson filter under the bonnet?

Yep, stupid is as stupid does. I wont be doing that again. We also have 3 GC's in our underground carpark, one (WJ) has a front bars and spotties and the other 2 (WJ and ZJ) are stock. Both look good but not modded at this time.

When I get time Im going to head down to U-pull it wreckers and have look at all the fords or holdens that have piping that fit with a 180 deg elbow and maybe looking at putting a hole in the bonnet with mesh.

Two advantages one I wouldve move the air intake from next to the headlight to further higher and back towards the windscreen, still will look good but further thinking of making it available where when deep water crossing I can put a temporary snorkel in the hole.

Just on the drawing board at the moment anyone have any ideas or pics please put forward suggestions.

my cj6 has a donaldson on it,well off it at the moment like every other part,might get the cleaner and tape measure out tomorrow and have a look ,might save yooze a few bucks if it dont fit-the bottom of my airbox has been cut off and i put a K&Ndrop in sounds great goes better but playing with fire in the mud and water.
