Default WJ 2001 Rear shocks rubbing

Just wondering if anyone has a problem with the rear shocks rubbing on the inside of he tyre. Im running 245 R16 with a 2" dobinsons lift. The shock only comes into contact with the tyre when it is tucked up.

i was looking at getting some wider tyres. But i cant see how that is possible because they will be rubbing all the time.

yep it happens with the wider bore shocks like old man emu and i guess the ones you've got. MRGC and someone else have gotten a relocation kit for the shocks to move them out of the way, not sure what else you could do

mine must have been made in japan as it seems to be the only one that doesnt have shock rub issues, that a 4" lift with 265/70/16s ,must be the rancho shocks.
