I drive with my front windows down ( or half way) nearly everyday to work and have not experienced any front door glass rattling even while going over obstacles. Hopefully you find out what it is but does sound like you have broken something as i have owned my jk for over 2 years and not experienced anything like this.

is the case in every JK and certainly most cheaper vehicles I've ever been in with the windows down! Even the brand new Grand Cherokee i looked at the other day did it. Oddly, a $20,000 corolla does not. Says a bit for the quality of some cars doesn't it. For the most part I would say most people do not notice it or even care.

You could pull the door panels off and tighten the window slides but is much easier to put window all the way down and then tap up. In a JK this will position the glass just on the upper window rubber and give it more support.

Yep, mine does the same.I just give the window switch a quick tap to move the window up a smidge and it stops it straight away
