There are many diesel Rubicons, just that Jeep in Australia doesnt seem to import them, and I find that very strange. You have to demand it.

In Sweden we are not a diesel country and we are only 9 million people and we have both diesel and petrol Rubicons and Saharas.

Could be that there are no Rubi diesel with the stearing wheel on the right side ???

Here You can se diesel Rubicon in Germany http://www.jeep.de/preisliste/665.pdf

I see in South Africa they also dont have diesel rubicons so probably because there are no diesel rubicons for left driving.

You have to change as we did

Hey Omar, I think that you are right about the driving position. Probably not produced due to a combination of costing and engineering issues.
Looking at your attached photo, I think we must be already practicing for the change down here!

Little OT, sorry

I translated a swedish text via Google

"On September 3, 1967 at 06:00 Sweden went over to right-hand traffic. Sweden's transition to driving on the right was the biggest reform of the traffic area conducted sometime somewhere. Directly involved in the transition to driving on the right were 8,000 police officers and military police. Moreover contributed 100 000 counselors from clubs and schools.

Already in 1718 introduced Charles XII hand traffic. But in 1734, when Frederick of Hesse was king, was introduced on the left. In 1955 we had the referendum on the right-hand or left-hand traffic, 82.9 percent of the voters turned to the right traffic. Despite this, parliament decided in 1963 on the transition to driving on the right."
