2dr or 4dr ?

I had a 2007 6spd CRD 2dr, no lift and stock 16s, drove it like I stole it and averaged 10.8L/100km over 4yr and 220,000km, 50% highway 50% city.

there's some one here thinking about swapping a diesel for a petrol....maybe you can swap. The thread is something about superchargers

2010 Auto JKU Lifted on 35's with all bar work and 4.88 gearing. and GDE tune. I get a steady 12.5l/100 driving around the city, drops to 10-11 on the freeway at 100km/h and in the 9's if i drive at 80m/h

Default JK diesel consumption

I have a 2010 JKU manual which has a GDE tune, oil vapor catch can and no muffler, and is fitted with ARB bar, winch, 33in ATs, 2.5in lift etc.
It consistently uses 10 - 10.5 L/100km around the suburbs. Improves to mid/high 9L/100km with easy open road running. Worst was 15.3 towing a heavy camper trailer on the Oodnadatta track with a head wind. Calculated figures, not dash read-out.

How do you guys get such good consumption??

15L/100km doing very short trips.

12L/100km long distance.

2007 JK CRD auto. (has 4.1 diffs). 32" tyres. No lift, no bar work. Usually driven pretty hard.

GDE tune?
Also check your inlet manifold, it might be blocked up from EGR soot and blow by oil if you've done a lot of kms?

and what speed do you cruise at on long trips?

2010 JKU auto, lift, 33s, bars front and rear. I get 14 around town, 10 on the freeway, between 15 and 16 towing my 1800 kg caravan and 18 slogging around the hills in low range. A recent 4 day trip to the High Country of 600 km with a combination of highway, 2wd dirt, and high and low range 4wd gave me an average consumption of just over 14.
