Default Warning lights on after being off road

So did an hour or so on the dirt yesterday, some puddles, nothing serious. Slipped it into H4 just for maybe 5 mins only. Back on the Hwy for a short while and 'boing', look at dash and ABS, traction control & BAS warning lights are on. Drove for another 15 mins stopped for 10 mins, head off again and no warning lights. Any ideas? '08 JK shorty...

How is your steering alignment?

I've had this twice, both times the steering being out of align confused the computer which spat a dummy and the lights went off. Mine is a 14 JK.

Steering, ok could be, at about 90 I get a reasonable vibration and if going down hill and I hit the brakes she wobbles quiet seriously...

one of your wheel speed sensors may be on the way out. TC and BAS is usually steering wheel angle, all 3 is usually wheel speed sensor.
When the lights stay on permanently, get it scanned so you know which wheel sensor to replace.

When mine was new I had these lights come on about once a fortnight, no apparent reason.
Dealer couldn't find the problem, no surprise there.
I then fitted my first lift and carried out a DIY wheel alignment, caster, toe in and centering.
That was 5 1/2 years ogo and these lights haven't as much as flickered since?
Go figure?!!

How many Km's on your JK ?

Had same issue. Thought it was just a wheel sensor but ended up being worn out front bearings after 74,000 Miles (120,000 KM)

Drove OK after disconnecting offending passenger side sensor with no noise coming from bearings allowing me to finish my day out.
Subsequent investigation after trying & failing with a new sensor discovered excessive play both sides.

So out came the wallet
Replaced both front bearings which come with sensors attached

2 + hours work each side
