Saying that it never happened doesn’t mean it didn’t either, may be check back through your records for freight that went badly wrong from Melbourne to Tasmania.

You misunderstood me. I'm not worried because I never said anything like this to anyone. Am I calling you a liar, no mate I'm not calling you anything as I dont ever resort to or lower my standards to that you imply I do.

As for your comments about freight going bad, I really am sorry but I have no idea who you are, I do not recall any issue with freight sent Melb to Tas nor do I have any idea what was sent or went badly. Again like I have stated before I dont want issues unresolved and I cant believe that something that went as badly as you claim does not ring a bell. Happy to discuss here publicly if you wish or you are more than welcome to call me anytime to discuss (I can send you my details via pm if you like).

I would like to know more about this issue because honestly (and I have gone through emails and searched jobs just quickly now) there is nothing that I recall or can find. What was you name/email address and can you send me details of the issue.

I will disagree with your comment that I insulted like you say I did because it simply would not be something I would even think to say let alone actually say it to someone. But if we did actually have dealings together and I somehow said something that upset you or you felt was an insult I do sincerely apologise but you have to understand its just not in my nature to act like that I assure you.

Why? Because you don't agree with it?

People's perspective is their reality right or wrong and this is the very purpose of a thread like this to sort out issues. Some feel they got the short end of the stick and have a right to post with FMA giving his side. If people stick to the facts and report their issues with the company in question right to respond to those allegations then I can't see what the problem is.

I was told by you over the phone that due to the floods (not your fault obviously) that the items would take somewhat longer to collect and if possible could I hang on to them till this was cleared up, I reiterate that none of this was your fault when half of Brisbane was under water as well as Rockhampton (the destination) was also under water.
You stated that as a gesture of goodwill you would do me a deal on my next transcations, no number (of trnasactions) was quoted and yes I recall that my next transcation mentioned a discount, all good.
My comment was that I doubt that any other transactions have been anything other then normal rate and also the comms can be quite slow at receiving quotes etc.

BUT, I have since sent items which were picked up on time mostly and no issues in transit and will continue to use this service.

It would be nice if the email and quote system was a little more prompt.

If I were disgruntled I would use someone else, shame I wasn't nearby to get that bottle of bourbon though

Well it seems Allied Express and FMA have some disagreement.
Now Allied Express have decided to HOLD one of our shipments without notification for 6 days.
Despite a morning wasted on the phone they are refusing to release the goods to us so we can send them vai another carrier, they will not discuss any of the issues (as this is between FMA and AE).
And basically Allied Express are refusing to try to work with us to come to any other resolution.
So in summary my advice to all & sundry is:
DON'T use Allied Express.

This thread is closed. Enought has been said considering there are two sides to every story. Also considering one of the complaints is still action between the customer and Freight Management, closure of discussion is necessary.
