After weeks of planning and waiting for orders to be delivered, finally got around to replacing all four discs and pads. Wasn't as bad as I expected. Happy to get rid of the shuddering.

Also installed an iDrive throttle unit. My 3.0l diesel has proven slow off mark sometimes yet at others, it takes off like its arse is on fire. Guessing the turbo and electronic throttle calibration that's causing the variability. The iDrive seems to have sorted it out as now the throttle response appears the same no matter what the situation.

Was super easy to install and I'm a lot happier as its easier to drive. Still to settle on which setting is best around town.

Now only both rear shock lower bushes to replace.

What did you go with for discs and pads?

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FULL-SET...72.m2749.l2649

Whilst I wasn't after the slotted/dimpled discs specifically, I've bought from the vendor previously and found their products first class and their service first rate. Price was pretty good also.

Since installation, braking performance is much improved with good pedal feel.

Installed my Chief Rack which finally turned up yesterday. Old Mate at Murchison reckons Chief had tons of orders to go out when they rocked up. Little bit fiddly with the lots of tiny nuts, and I had to trim down the 4 bolts for the riv nuts on each end, they were too long, all good.
Pretty happy with it, I only went the 'Bare Bones' Edition with 2 extra planks, it will suit my needs, I am thinking of putting a 40 inch light bar at the front. My little stubby aerial fits perfectly at the back.

Got the front windows tinted this morning, looks much better.
Fit my new awning and QuikFists to hold my shovel etc. Google it at your own risk!
