You will dig way bigger holes with a traction control based system. Wheel has to spin before it is activated only difference is you could dig four rather than one or possibly two which could influence how is recovery is. Do you have or know anyone who has rubicon or a vehicle that has both? If so take it somewhere to really test traction try it first no lockers then try it with them. The amount of throttle input needed is way less and wheelspin almost non existant compared to unlocked. Just the other week i got slightly hung up when testing new lift hadn't got te engaged and went nowhere just wheelspin and traction control trying it's best to sort it out. Switched lockers on and basically idled out. All 4wd should come with lockers!

Right at the end when you are looking at the side of the lhf wheel you can see it speed up and slow down thats the traction control working

The lockers definately take you further and easier too, unless you need to turn. I still like the traction control as well because I have no fear of planting the foot, where planting the foot with a front locker engaged and wheels turned can be rolling dice on whether something breaks. I only use the front when I fail to proceed and more pedal with the rear engaged fails.

i find in alot of instances the traction control (BAS) gets me through alot of areas where the unlocked patrols and cruisers sit spinning cross articulated. The system does work very well. I usually only engage the lockers if the tracks are more on the extreme side

That's spot on. Also why the eaton electric lockers like in the rubi are a good thing they disengage straight away so if you need to turn you can flick the front off straight away. I have found they are much quicker than others to respond.

Yeah, need paddle activators on them or perhaps a gearshift button
