This is interesting, be great to see what you can do with it. Quite honestly Iíve yet to meet a dealer that knows as much as I do about any vehicle Iíve owned so no surprises they are clueless.

I have to agree, I canít understand why dealers or service depts. donít put a staff member on forums about their products. Iíve owned Range and Land Rovers in the past and honestly, I got sick and tired of having to tell my dealer service dept. exactly what the problem was, and how to fix it - all knowledge that I had gained through forums such as this.

Sorry for the delay....I was waiting for a new OBD scanner that was fully compliant....well it arrived today!

Connected no issue.

The software has SO many config options and the DTC's are so in-depth as well.

I've now got no flicker at all with no harness adapters......I've also set it so when I full beam, low beam also says on for even more brightness (only for LED use, normal bulbs will make to much heat).

Flicking the light on now has zero delay as well Much better than the factory setup.

I've also disabled my seat belt warning alarm for when I off-road..

I've only just scratched the surface of what the app can do, but I can confirm it works great.

Very happy

Default Led headlights

Thatís great news kritip, looking at the website it does appear to cover plenty of options including some Iíve already had my dealer enable. Apart from what you have done I also really want to extend the time between operations of the rear wiper when set to run intermittent, Iím probably pushing my luck on that one.

Did your new OBD2 device cost much? Apparently itís locked to the vehicles VIN# so not much point in sharing clip.

The "bixenon" mode is also for LED....the description in the app expands on what the setting does. It's just not shown on that screen capture.

It just disables the PWM signal on high and low beam

The software is tied to only one VIN number when you purchase it so it won't work on any other Jeep so you need to buy a copy.

From what it can do it seems worth the cost for sure compared to what a dealer would charge.

I dunno if it has that option lol, but I'll check tomo for you

The OBD scanner was about $80 AU, so a hard pill to swallow when all my other ones were a few $$ from ebay...however this one is a fully compliant scanner so works so much better.

The cheapies would clear DTC's and report my speed etc when driving, but just don't do the advance stuff that software like this uses.

I will share it but reluctantly.....purely because the website is very waffley, he's based in AU but bills in USD, there are reports (though I can't confirm or deny) he repackages free or cracked software, and he claims the reader contains "genuine" ELM firmware flashed into their own chip, however ELM confirmed to me they don't provide firmware to anyone and only sell pre-programmed chips, so the seller is making false claims......however.....

it does work, and passes all of the tests for an ELM 2.1 interface unlike any of my other devices I own ( and I own 4 others of different styles) ....so on that front it get a positive.

Shame ELM electronics make it so hard to get a genuine device with a genuine chip.

I found a seller in Europe that sells a scanner with the genuine chips, but they never got back to me with a shipping quote.

Deffo avoid the cheapy ebay ones for an application like this....they simply won't work.

Sorry for the long post.....here's the link:
