Default Hard Shell Neccessary For Rego?

G’day Jeepers,
2005 TJ in NSW
Quick question...I’ve had a bit of a visit from the scumbag fairies one night and they’ve managed to smash the right rear side glass of the hard top. I’ve been quoted $600 for a replacement. 🤨
My question is can I go and get my pink slip without the roof on?
I’ve got a bikini top and cargo net I can chuck on. (No soft top)
She’s garaged most of the time and I just can’t afford ed the expense of replacing the glass just yet.

Cheers for any advice the brains trust can offer.

Dyl

It shouldn't be an issue as the vehicle has passed ADRs to be sold in Australia.

The hardtop is not integral to the vehicles safety, that's what the roll cage is there for.

Thanks for the advice Nanook.
I popped the roof off and took it to get he blueslip and nonworries there.
Unfortunately they defected my bloody tyres.
Cracks in the tread pattern. 🙄
So that was an expense I wasn’t ready for.
I have found a good deal online though.
4 for the price of 3 plus cash back for ‘mates rates’.
Just have to share with other like minded folk who want tyres.
Problem is I’m the only Jeeper/4 wheeler in my set.
Anyone out there needing any tyres soon?
Hit the link for a cheap deal and I can get some cash back as well. 😀
