Default Morris 4x4

Bought a 5th Mickey Thompson rim and Jerry can holders for my body armor tyre holder.
Excellent price (and the rim is impossible to get in oz at the moment as well )

Arrived 7 working days after payment was received from the US.

Communication was a bit average (still waiting for the tracking number and when it was shipped) but in the end well done.

Sent from my iPhone because my kids are on MY laptop again.

Default Morris 4X4

Hi
How was your order sent, ie, Fedex or US Postal Service, and what was the approximate cost? Have been quoted $42 for a rebber tailshaft boot via Fedex and that seems excessive.
Regards
John

I just order a couple of manifold bolts and exhaust manifold basket and the postage cost me 55 dollars. Guess I sshould have order more to reduce the shipping costs on more items

Just ordered a plastic door frame for jk (weights maybe 500g) and the hood latches and they quoted me $200 for shipping, more than the frame and latches cost...

Can I find any of that stuff here in Australia? Cause I'm getting raped hardcore here

Default morris check against vin

Ordered stuff through morris you are better off getting a box of stuff to reduce freight. Best thing is to ask them to check parts against your Vin which they do for free and has saved me getting wrong parts in the past. Good service from these guys.

Even with freight, cost is a third of my local stealership

Default Morris 4x4

I just ordered a small plastic part for my XJ from Morris costing $9, shipping was $30...

Queried it and told it was for a flat rate box?! Sometimes handy but not in this situation!

I've been buying from all the US Internet stores and Morris seem to be the most expensive for shipping.

Have to agree Communication is a bit average, many emails gone unanswered.
I've got heaps of stuff from them price and product is great but, If your wanting to know something about parts before you buy, they hardly get back.

I only buy stuff of them if I know it's going to be right otherwise I shop around as there's other online shops in the USA.

Shipping in the US is expensive at the best of times... we have been spolt by Australia Post ..ooops... did I say that ??.. flame away, but it's true.
The cheapest way to send small items is by US post.. takes about the same time most days!
(Most don't like it this way due to the lack of tracking and "lost" parcels but I have never had this problem)

We should also keep in mind that Morris have little or no admin fee attached to their prices. So the longer they spend trying to get you the best postage price the less money they make on the transaction.

It's in their best interest to have one type of postage provider and just quote that provider every time, there is familiarity with how the postage provider works. Thus reducing the admin time for each transaction.
