Shipping in the US is expensive at the best of times... we have been spolt by Australia Post ..ooops... did I say that ??.. flame away, but it's true.
The cheapest way to send small items is by US post.. takes about the same time most days!
(Most don't like it this way due to the lack of tracking and "lost" parcels but I have never had this problem)

We should also keep in mind that Morris have little or no admin fee attached to their prices. So the longer they spend trying to get you the best postage price the less money they make on the transaction.

It's in their best interest to have one type of postage provider and just quote that provider every time, there is familiarity with how the postage provider works. Thus reducing the admin time for each transaction.

Didn't know that, because I had a diff center sent to me from USA at a postage cost of $95. But I went to send it back due to wrong one sent and Australia Post wanted $280 at 22kg to sent???
Can't work that out.

I got my emails answered within 24hrs I was blown away with how helpful they are. I bought hi lift brackets, smittybilt winch, tom woods driveshaft, air compressor recovery gear all up spent 1300 plus 300 shipping. Two major aussie jeep vendors couldnt even provide the driveshaft and winch for 1600. Im so happy with their prices and customer service. Hopefully the shipping is quick.

Please can I flame first?

I ordered some bits in Oz 10 days ago but they never arrived. Went back to E-Bay and got the consignment number, checked it, and lo and behold the items are sitting at my local PostShop awaiting collection because they were "undeliverable".

I have never received any communication at all from AusPost (remember the card that they are supposed to leave?). I guess that it is payback by the contractor as I complained a month back when a parcel that needed a signature was not delivered, even though at the time he was meant to have tried I was at home with the front door of my home wide open! I sent an email to AusPost and in reply I was asked if I wanted to register a complaint against the contractor.

I said no. Perhaps that was a mistake....

On the day and time that this parcel was said to be "undeliverable" I was at home, with my front door open, (I have a security mesh door) and somewhere around the house cleaning out my gutters!

I think these guys are in Florida too. So that prob doesn't help postage to Aust.

However I have always found them great - and as for all shops they much prefer a courier come and pick up rather than haul all the daily shipping down to USPS...

Id love to know how we have been spoilt by Australia Post? I think they are the most expensive around, i ship parcels all day long and bring a lot of small items in from the states, China and taiwan, i can get products from any of those country cheaper and faster than i can send items to perth
