I haven't really noticed that much of an increase in noise. As far as tread wear, I measured that I've gone through approx 3-4mm of tread and I've done just over 22,500km's. Here is a pic of where I measured from:



So I guess in theory if they continue to wear this way then I should get approx 45,000km's and gone through half the tread.

I don't know how this wear is in comparison to the other major tyres?

getting some fitted next week. alljap in virginia has them in 31' 10.5's for 800 fitted.

Yeah I got the tyres from them about 6 or more months ago. I paid $270 a tyre fitted (285/70/17)

Then the first time I went 4wd with my new wheels, I got a puncture, dont ask me how it happend because i wouldnt have a clue????. But iv never had a problem since then.

I imagine the freight would negate the savings but how much for 5x 285/70/17's delivered to 6233 TJ?

Last night I wish I had a set of mudhogs got a call out to fix the water at work so to save time just went with the Jeep, lets just say pilbara dirt becomes quick sand when wet!

Didnt get stuck but crap tyres at 33psi means no steering.

Its all about timing now I had most of the money put aside but have to make another trip to Port Hedland for family reasons so there goes that fund, will start saving again as of next week just seems the closer I get something comes up lol.
