Default Tires

So its time to take the plunge,
The old BFG AT Ko's are very soon to go bye bye. However I am Looking towards fitting Nitto Trail Grapplers 265 70 17. Only issue is I only have a Rough Country 2inch Lift and on the Install it says it is to suit up to 265 70 17 sizes. But im not sure if they will fit as I already have small ammounts of rub with 265 65s anyone got any ideas. Thanks in Advance

I have 17x9 +30 rims on mine and 265/70r17s rub in the same places, so stock offset wheels would rub catastrophically.
It will also hit the ball joint bolt unless you trim it.

Consider their weight rating and how that may effect your insurance prior to going through with those KO2's

Your only increasing wall hight not width, i have 265/70/17 and i only have the same amount of rubbing at full lock with stock wheels. in the future i will be going back to 245/70/17 at's on stock wheels no rubbing for daily driving and get some steel wheels with +30 off set with some 265/70/17 muddies for 4wding.

Commanders have 6mm more offset in the factory wheels with the same front end setup as a WH. 265/70 on stock WH wheels will rub so hard on full lock it will likely damage the tyre. A taller tyre once turned will have a wider range of motion through the steering lock.
