Stavros, it was a 24 day round trip and we drove to gympie on the friday night and then to mackay and cairns on the following days. we had 17 days north of the daintree and had a really good time up there (Just wish we could have done the CREBS track!)

Its a petrol and it turned out I could do the entire Cape trip with just the standard tank!

That's good to know, because we're heading up there next year and I was wondering about fuel range.

I must say though, its always good to have a bit of backup fuel when touring!
