Default P0192 High pressure fuel pump code

Recently I have got the P0192 code after the engine has been running for a while and warmed up to around 85 degrees.

The engine stops and the ETC lightning bolt lamp comes on. No MIL. The engine restarts straight away and appear to run OK. The ETC stays on till the engine is off for a little while.

the rail pressure according to the scan tool is 250 bar at idle upto 7-800 bar at 3000 revs.

It seems to be when the engine goes from open loop while warming up to closed loop.

Any ideas?

Any ideas?

I ran some diesel treatment through ,

Cleaned the throttle body.

It normally only stops running if idling

I can't explain the ETC lightning bolt but when mine started stalling at idle it was the injectors.

Check the H/P pump for movement (pump moves slightly when engine running) the H/P pump bolts have a tendency to vibrate loose and the pump halves start to separate. You can't tighten them without removing the pump, don't worry about getting the pump timing mixed up as its not timed like old diesels.

how did u go with this one vk2?
I have the same “p1092 fuel rail pressure sensor a circuit low” code coming up. Get etc light flashing, and loss of power, like no turbo. still driveable but no power and a fair bit of smoke?
Ive just changed fuel filter, glow plug control module and glow plugs trying to get rid of faults and codes i thought were causing the issue...seems like it might be this last one!!! :wall;
