Found an old post of my rear storage , I have altered the latch to just the one magnetic catch now, it's actually for sale.

Don't recommend the daystar spacer lift, much better to get coils, you don't have to change the shocks, but it is recommended for the rear as you can top out the original ones with a lift.
Duel batteries ,I put mine under my drivers seat ,most go in the rear storage compartments , a couple of guys fabbed up a shelf under the car behind the transfer case.

The V6 does have a thermo fan in the cowel behind the radiator, you should be able to hear it going, not sure if when the vehicle is hot, and you shut down the engine, then turn the ignition back on without starting if the fan comes on?

Don't put in a spacer lift, you'll just wind up taking it out to put in a spring lift. Spacers give you nothing but the appearance of a lift - you'll still have the short soft stock springs. Call Stu at Murchison Products, he has a couple of different spring lifts for KJs, and will ship anywhere. You can install the rears yourself but get some suspension shop to put the new springs on the front struts. If you can remove the front strut yourself and take it to them to have the strut compressed and new spring installed. DO NOT try to disassemble the strut yourself - people have been badly injured doing that. If you pay someone to do the job get a fixed price, as the removal of the front struts is going to take some time as other stuff needs to come out first. Don't agree to hourly rate.
