2012 Laredo purchased a month ago. Just clicked over 25,000 kms
Have just finished fitting up a Chief nudge bar and recovery hooks, Narva LED 215 spotlights (these are KICK ARSE potties for anyone who puts a premium on night vision), Rhino Rack, awning and 275/65R18 Hankook ATM's. I've also painted the grille and badges matt black and will likely powder coat the nudge bar black once I find some black wheels. Very happy so far
Still on my to do list: darker tint, black wheels and a fridge slide for our 80L Waeco.
Does an 80L waeco even fit with the rear seats up ? . Having a cf50 in the back i would say probably not . As for a fridge slide, how are you going to support so much weight . I'd hate to have an 80L fridge on a slide without some serious reinforcing and a solid rear floor

Yeah it fits no problem. I know I'll have to do some reinforcing but it's doable.
Couldn’t see why there was doubt that the 80lt wouldn’t fit. Positioning and placement would make it achievable. I’m looking forward to seeing the end results i.e. any reinforcing, if needed. With a little positivity, plus some elbow grease and know how, anything is possible. Good luck.

Nelso19, loving what you’ve done to this. Pretty much what I will hope to do when I get my GC. Especially the colour. You have to love black. It’s the colour I’m hoping to get. Although any colour besides white I would be happy with. Too bland and boring for me. Like a Toyota Camry 😴

Hi jeepers. The reason i asked was actually owning a wk2 and knowing how the boot is designed and especially the floor being a flimsy design i was concerned how a fridge weighing 29kg dry and then loaded up with food and drink is going to be able to support a fridge slide , especially when the fridge slide is extended. Hence why i asked him a question .
cf80 is 780mm long without handles. Add the handles and it is approx 850mm long . hence why i asked him if it would fit as there isn't much room left length wise in my boot with a cf50 and that is only 630mm long
