So you are saying a " Bad or Failing Canister Purge Solenoid" has the same symptoms as a bad PCM, bad injectors ,bad CPS, TPS, idle air control valve, O2 sensors and just about every other sensor in there. Well that ought to be easy to figure out. Hee..He ..Heee

have you at any stage fitted a vacuum gauge to the engine?

this will usually show pretty much for sure if you have any mechanical issue inside your engine

really cheap,easy & vital tool $20

will 100% show a fault if any vacuum leak, valve train damage, uneven engine, firing, even worn rings

often these wont throw any codes

if the engine behaves on the vacuum gauge, it has to be non-mechanical

no I haven't got a vacuum gauge I might have to invest in one but it was running great just hard to start then wouldn't start even the one time it started it ran great so I dunno I am hoping its the purge valve after what I have read .... same symptoms as a bad tps and its sorta like that it was worse combined with the bad tps now slightly better with the new tps fitted
running out of options

Well Finally after nearly 12 months of this ..... something might be going Right for a Change!
let me explain We decided to take Herbie the dog out bush Roo chasing (we needed to tire him out as its a 2 hour Game of Thrones Tonight) We were going out the back of town out past the dump as I fully expected to chug a lug crawl out there last time we went out there we had the bad TPS .... and were lucky to get to 50 kph .... since the New TPS was fitted I have only been around town (under power .. never cruising) so off we went chug a lug no miss no cough or splutter ..... finally got out on the road out past the dump and the Missus said to me "there is this clicking coming from under the hood? ... I could hear it as well? !!! by this time I had found that I was cruising at about 80 kph 1500 rpm I found that if I was light on the pedal it was smooth The Clicking Noise (only lasted for 30 secs) I believe it is the Canister Purge Solenoid Its Stuck ... I bet I would be too after 230k of carbon passing through me
or the solenoid itself got fried when the pcm died ?
who knows what caused this catastrophic failure of everything ? FedEx says Friday We shall see

Well this could be my Last Post !
This Thread is almost 12 months old ... 12 Months of "WTF!" for ME!
IT's FIXED! .................Almost! ..... Yes Friends there is Always a Catch!
I received the Canister Purge Solenoid today ... Fitted it took all of 2 mins no tools needed hit the key vhoom good start give it a rev sounded cleaner BUT! off around the block so I could put my foot down under driving conditions still not Crisp! .. came home thinking WTF!!!
It was its hard to say before it was like the mixture was out now like one bad cylinder so I had a look and there it was ..Taa.Nar.nar.aaar!
.
.
.
N5 plug lead was Loose on the Spark Plug .... But!
it was deformed due to the weight of the heater tap and hoses (mine has LPG and extra hoses running to the gas converter) I will use some wire to support the weight and fix to the fuel rail and new plug leads ...... so close to the finish now ...... thanks everyone for your support and help
