hi guys,

looking at ordering this teraflex bar, anyone know the laws in melbourne, cant find any legal doc thats states specific guidelines.

I'd say those recovery points wont comply as you cant have anything protruding, also im not sure if shorty bars comply either!

Different Rear Bumpers are not so bad its the Frontal area the cops would be more concerned with. thats why I stuck with an ARB for the Front but i went a bit more exotic for the Rear, Just fitted an LoD bar from the States. First one in Aus

really like the shorty bars.. but is there any legal doc that says anything at all, how can they ping you without any legal docs to back them up.. but then again they are cops

Back to ADR guys ...

5mm round corners, hoop at same angle as grille, not to be higher than bonnet, must replace bumper and cover same places, not to interfear with any on the existing lights, not to have protusion forward of the bar that can or may cause injury to pedestrians, airbag compliant (if rqd) etc etc etc etc etc bla bla bla .......

Some US imports will not be legal ...

Yep looks cool but shortys are def illegal.

Tho if the cops wanna get ya they'll find something.
