If it's wet, the whole JK gets covered in crap ! EVERYWHERE !!

If it's dry, no dramas. Still a great idea, easy to install. Easy to remove. Great coverage of larger tyres and plenty of clearance when they're off. We're really happy with ours.

Cheers

George.

Default Cooper S/T MAXX or MT 4 RIB ATZ

Looking for a good All Terrain, was thinking Coopers or MT.
Anyone running either?

looking at getting 285/75/R16, 90% road driving.

I've got the equivalent 4-Rib size for the 17" wheel (285/70/17). Seems to be a good all round tyre. Road manners are great and they seem to wear well. If they continue to wear as they are now then I'll get about 80000km out of them before they need changing, probably a good few more if I wanted to run them down to the legal limits.

Off road grip seems to be good as well, even in the sloppy stuff. They bite in quite well and don't seem to hold the mud too much. You need to run them at fairly low pressures though otherwise they chip a bit off road. I drop mine to 20psi for normal off road work which is a good 5psi lower than I would have used with the OE Wranglers but they seem to work well at that pressure. Long fast dirt road driving you'd want a bit more air in and for softer stuff you'd likely need to go lower but for the usual mix of relatively slow rock/dirt/sand/mud tracks around Sydney 20psi seems to work well.

Sorry mate, can't comment on the AEV snorkel. At the present time we have no intention running a snorkle. Don't think it's needed with our set up.. LOL. Cheers George.

DownSouth runs that configuration, it neds the Trailmod flare to have a piece trimmed off in order to be able to remove the flare easily.
